“…If light and darkness are eternal, surely we nothings are the same! Eternal!”
The definition of nobody is someone who does not exist, someone who is no one. And someone who doesn’t have an existence in the first place can’t die, so what happens to them? They fade.
Or so you were led to believe. Two years after the adventures that take place in Kingdom Hearts II, Sora and his friends receive a letter from King Mickey regarding the appearance of a brand new foe; the Chaser. No one is sure what exactly these things are, but they have some kind of connection to the Heartless. And what’s worse, each of these Chasers carries their very own keyblade with them; keyblades used to destroy worlds and spread the darkness that Sora and his friends worked so hard to drive back.
But what exactly do these Chasers have to do with someone who has no real existence? Simple; Nobodies hold the secret to immortality. Something that does not die cannot be defeated, no matter how hard one tries. And this could be useful in determining who wins in the war against Light and Darkness. With this information in mind, King Mickey decides that something must be done about getting rid of the Nobodies once and for all, by forcing Nobodies to meet with the Somebodies they were separated from. Then they would logically disappear for good.
And so, Sora sets off on a journey to recover the members of Organization XIII and their former selves with the help of two Nobodies; Roxas and Naminé. What they have yet to figure out is that the Nobodies of the Organization don’t remember a thing about it, nor do they even recall that they are Nobodies. They are living their lives as normal humans on different worlds, having a vague feeling that something about them isn’t quite right, but they have no idea what. And with the Chasers on the hunt, Sora and his friends must hurry.

Welcome to the End of Forever.
